The meta for this puzzle is a well-known singer-songwriter.

Weird, I was alone on the leaderboard for a while, and then Jangler ended up ahead of me? Hmm... I have a hunch why (not time travel, although that would explain a lot about Jangler).

I think that happens when there's a typo or misspelling in an otherwise correct answer. The computer rejects it, but then Pete manually accepts it. Happened to me on Wilburys when I spelled traveling with 2 Ls (which if I recall, you may have done also ). Anyway, nice job finishing so quickly!

Clever...no time travel here so below Hector (and Jangler).
Was almost led astray but corrected before submitting.

Fun puzzle as always by Peter. He is one of the best constructors out there.

I'm happy... I didn't get home until 1:30, so I'm counting it (to myself) as a top 6 finish. Still can't touch Hector's finish though! And Jangler? Even my girlfriend (who doesn't do metas) knows what it means when I say "Jangler!" Like Seinfeld/Newman, only with a lot more reverence.

I thought I had it, but I'm not on the board. Can someone who's gotten it PM me? Thanks!

On the board. Much needed win to (maybe?) pull me out of my rut.

Phew on the board. Wasn't seeing the mechanism for a while there.

On the board, with a red herring to boot!

I wasn't on the right wavelength for a while, but stumbled into it eventually. Nice one!

Gotta get going on the mega/red herring... I saw a glimmer of one of them last month, but couldn't turn it into something to submit.

Thought I had the answer, but I pulled the trigger too quickly. Oh well.

Does Al know how many of us say "Sisti!" in the same "Newman!"-like way?

On the big board!

Enjoyed it. Just the kind to do while relaxing (half napping, actually) after a pleasant health walk.

Very nicely constructed.

It seems like every month I think "Hmm, it's Tuesday, kind of a dead zone in the meta puzzle week" and then see the new MMMM thread here and think "Gah, it's the first Tuesday of the month!"

Not a super obvious meta but some sniffing around for slightly wrong things put me on the right scent. Very shallow rabbit holes, more like rooting around for truffles.

On the board. Nice moment of discovery. Can anybody do these grids without Googling??

I had 2 or 3 Google-to-verify, but didn't need to look anything up. Most of that is due to fortuitous crossings. I do find Pete's puzzles to require a broader knowledge base than some others.

On the board. Some googling required.
