Just got time after mowing and Home Depot runs to sit down to this. Pretty sure I went from list in the fog to already have the answer in the space of 30 seconds.

I know many here have longer streaks, but I'm a newbie this year, so my 5-week run if success is a personal best.

Mint juleps all weekend! Now that the threat of pollen is mostly over this far south we will do the traditional derby day porch washing then sit back and enjoy the race. Cheers and hoping for clean porches for everyone this spring.
Oh yes my husband reminded me last night that it is porch washing time in Matthews! At least we hired someone to do the traditional Mother’s Day weekend mulch this year.
It seems that the Charlotte area porch-owners are of like minds this weekend! :D My husband decided this morning that tomorrow will be cleaning day. I've been trying to convince him that some more pollen clouds could appear at any moment, but have been unsuccessful so far. Can't blame a girl for trying...
I convinced my husband to buy new outdoor furniture! Now we do not have to clean the porch until the old furniture gets moved out.

I live in the Upstate of SC and hate the Spring pollen dump! About 5 yrs ago we converted our screen porch to Eze-Breeze porch enclosure system!!! Love it! No more pollen trouble/cleaning! Saved my marriage! 😂😂

On shore. Only took an extra minute or so because I'm not up to date on this particular knowledge. Fun easy one

This will likely be the end of our streak as our daughter, whose insight and teamwork has unlocked every meta while she’s been living with us for the past few months, is leaving the country tomorrow for a year. Waaah! Expecting to be with Isaac 75% of the time from now on.
Hang with us. I am sure you are more capable than you give your credit for. Besides your daughter can get the puzzle via internet

Ashore!! Quite a late start - enjoying a full weekend with my 6 year old granddaughter - caught a break during a NetFlix movie that held her attention long enough for me to solve. Fortunately, an easy one IMO. Back to the movie! P.S. 6 yearolds can be exhausting!!

Not really. Hard to translate hippy into English. Ken Kesey tried with limited success.

Just got around to this one. On shore - 10m for grid, 5 for meta. Not too tough and the meta is nicely put together.
Check out the meta challenge at Lexicon Devil

I was going to email my answer but Sgt. Friday told me “Just the fax!”

Anyway I am here now 🏖 because I finally took a minute (well maybe 5) to actually work on 6D. The grid was more challenging this week and I learned a new word 37A to describe what happens to me far too often in these contests.

BTW, if Richard Alpert liked to drop 42D, what did his brother Herb 🌿 like to blow?

Ashore. I didn’t have time to think about the meta until bedtime tonight. I looked at it for a couple of minutes, decided I was going nowhere with it, turned out the light, and rolled over to go to sleep ... at which point, I realized what the gimmick had to be, turned the light back on, worked out the answer, and sent it in. And now ... to sleep ... perchance to dream ... 😜.

Ashore. I was going nuts on Thurs and Fri, ducking down insane bunnyholes while this forum was telling me it’s an easy solve. Then Shabbos started, which for me means no screens or any writing implements. Just staring at the grid, watching the letters swim before my eyes like visions of Dead shows in the 80’s. And then… Once in a while you get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right!
