Thanks for posting, Hector!
I'm a little concerned that someone has already rated the puzzle's difficulty, given that my spreadsheet shows no entries yet. Maybe the rater was simply rating the crossword's difficulty? The funny thing is I'd say the rating is correct.

Solved- I did not rate either (although it is correct). This was more of a misguided angel than the typical inscrutable devil.

That was me. I submitted correctly, I think, but wrongly--by replying to your email.

Unfamiliar with the topic area - so had to google for my answers.

I’m pretty sure that for half of the answer there is an alternative that is also correct, or so says Professor Google.

It's certainly possible (and I would count it as such) - curious to know what the alternative you found was.
