They haven't learned the forward, backward, inside, & out underwear rule?

Huh.
^^ Please see my above replies to KayW and Bob Cruise Director.
I take my laundry chores quite seriously ;)

By the way, after finishing laundry, I still am stuck in rabbit holes on this meta

And, if there is no GWTW app, someone needs to get on it posthaste
Ummm.... don't want to start anything. But IMHO if the guys' underwear drawers are empty, the "guys" can also do laundry. You have more important metas to tend to! ;)
Well, actually, NO ONE is allowed in my laundry room! My 40+ year old Maytags and I are very particular about all things washing, drying, folding, and ironing. 'Tis my indoor sanctuary space ;)
Now all you need to do is find space for a comfy chair for working metas. You could spend HOURS "doing laundry"...
...oh and and might as well add a minibar while you're at it.

hmmm.... you might have to lose the Maytags so it will fit.

I am stuck stuck stuck. Got the WSJ one after a couple days, but this one .. sheesh. Might reach out for a gentle nudge soon so I can stop thinking about it.

Here’s my Mattie.. sheepadoodle (O.E.sheepdog/standard poodle). Opal looks like she might be too?

Not a strong click for me, but enough of a click that I submitted and got beamed up.
I'll take it. I'll crack open the Guinness on Sunday afternoon.

Opal is a ‘Aussiedoodle’ - part Australian shepherd, mostly poodle. But they do look awfully similar

I once heard a NYC sports writer tell about phoning Yogi when he was considering an offer (maybe to manage the Mets -- I'm fuzzy on the details). The writer asked Yogi if he'd made up his mind yet. Said Yogi, "Not that I know of."

It's a quote you won't find in the usual collections of Yogi-isms, but it's my favorite. It poses certain riddles of epistemology, reflexivity, and neuroscience (all Yogi's strong suits).

Damn. I didn't quite make it into the top 500, partly because I didn't start on it until Sunday evening, but also because it's an app I've never used and never think about. I had to Google (@Bob cruise director, are you listening?) popular apps. Considering the number of searches I had to do for MEOW (did anyone get that meta without searching?), I didn't think it was cheating.

UPDATE: Coincidence. A couple of hours before I sent in my answer, I got an ad for this app. It was in the Promotions folder, so I didn't notice it till just now. Had they been sending me ads regularly like so many other places and I'd been deleting them unread? No. I checked my Trash folder, and this was the only one.

Just printed out at front desk and have what I believe is the answer although only totally satisfied with half. With go with the inference.

Update: confirmed. Ready to energize . . .

If you're talking about the very basebally MEOW - I crumpled that one up 1/2 way through. I can take a couple of special-knowledge sports entries, but a whole puzzle full? And then knowing I probably don't know enough to answer the meta?... nope.

Beam me up I finally saw it. Not a huge step from what I had already noticed, to what I needed to notice. Some experience with the app, so that does help. Not as satisfying a she-BANG type of solve, but more like a "what else could it be?" moment.
