I'm on the beach, but if the Guinness is gone, I blame myself.

Thank goodness I saw the right path in a reasonable time, because I could well have been stuck all weekend ... and that is NEVER pretty! I would have taken my clipboard to the state track meet (nephew is running!!) and totally annoyed everyone around me.

I went down some loooooooong and empty rabbit tunnels (so unnecessary!) before the meta just jumped in front of me. I am on shore.

Made it to shore (I think). As Bob has pointed out, a 1 in 50 chance has got to be lucky for somebody!

Finished the grid, my location location location is on the ship ship ship for now. I have an answer but want to think about it.

Finished grid quickly, then had the meta, um, a meta, er, the meta answer 10 minutes later, but I couldn't trust it. Newbie jitters.

It makes sense, is 100% defendable, and I agree that it's clever. I've submitted and claim a seat at the bar.
