Handle with Care Harper's March 2021

Nice to see an acrostic back in Harper's magazine. Every issue used to have an acrostic and a cryptic crossword.
Oh yeah, I'm off the couch and beamed up to the island. (I know there aren't many of Muggles who do the Harper's cryptic, but we do need our own idiom for success at it, don't you think?)

Not many Muggles! I can think of a few easily! (OK, guess it isn't THAT many).
Finally (temporarily?) have power back after some 30+ hours w/out (yes, I am part of the Houston power fiasco), so printing out puzzles as quickly as I can. Agree - the acrostic looks like a nice change of pace.

Pretty quick and straightforward solve.
The added help (about half the letters in the quote are used in two clues) really helped relieve to a normal acrostic.

Just finished. Agree that the acrostic format made this a quicker solve than usual, especially with some answers sharing letters. Not my favorite Maltby puzzle, but I always enjoy his wordplay.
