Looks like I did not get listed on the Friday report, so bumping this post to get in the Saturday update.

My mistake. I remember the posting but failed to enter you. You are now officially on the shore.

Still LAS. Been a bad week between "drawing" the ball path on the MEOW puzzle (On the Rebound) yet not seeing the answer, then getting the answer but not how to derive it on the MMM puzzle (Twelve Twenty-Six) - - actually saw the embedded names of "kings" a dozen times, but was trying to solve for the literal answer. NOW, I'm reading about how easy this week's WSJ meta is (and I believe it), but not seeing it. Trying to decide - - is it too much margarita? Or too little? There seems to be such an easy beginning hook . . .

Wow! It's only Friday and "we" have it! Must be a Christmas miracle. I have a question: I found the "method," but my wife found the answer; under genteel lady and gentlemen rules are we both allowed to submit? Hope everyone has had a good, family oriented Christmas Day.

Beware of next week -- it's PAGEANT week.
Hmm. I vaguely recall a PAGEANT puzzle. I’m certain I did not solve it.

You had lots of company. There were 1863 submissions and only 13% were correct - a record low percentage. It's become a legend. You can read about it here:

I'm just glad to come to these after that event ... and they forced Marie Kelly to stop making these (under that name).

If I can't win the WSJ mug (still on the ship but too busy to look at it much today), maybe I can win this major award!

We are on shore... A few rabbit holes but a relatively quick and pleasant solve. Now off to Gaffneyland...
