On the board, whew. I found an answer quickly but sat on it for two reasons that I'll sit on until the deadline.

I found the answer fairly quickly as well, but couldn't think of any other answer, so I submitted and am on the leaderboard.

Edited to add: solving the grid was harder than usual for me. Looking in hindsight at the meta I see that it was constructed more cleverly than I had noticed at first.

I always enjoy Peter’s puzzles. This grid was really tough for me and the meta probably took longer than it should have to see, but there was a nice Aha moment. Now if I could only win one of those neat mugs.

Wow. That one added up to a lot of trouble for me. Tricky or vague clues in the grid tripped me up, and the meta was tough, too. Submitted something, and awaiting confirmation.

"Kinda easy" but still a cool setup.

Done and done - as usual, I made that harder than necessary.

On the board! I had a hard time with this one, but eventually got there in a very roundabout way. I think that this puzzle might be especially tough for some.

I've had the grid complete for about a day now and still am no closer to solving it. Frustratingly, Pete even tells me exactly what I need to do to solve the meta. Often I know approximately what I need to do, but I can't get the method exactly right.

With 105 correct so far, it appears to be medium difficulty.

I finally got it with a little help from ky-mike. (Thanks!) I submitted because I probably would have seen it if I'd spent another hour or 2 looking at the grid.

I'd seen this piece of equipment before, but didn't know its name until now. Had I known it, I may not have needed a nudge.

I could think of a couple of other pieces of musical equipment, but they were eight and nine letters respectively. I had to check with Google before I submitted my answer, which has not been confirmed.

Not finding it easy at all. I may be miss interpreting Pete's instruction or unfamiliar with the equipment. It would be cool if the answer were something like didgeridoo (only 10 letters though), a piece of musical equipment which I have seen. Anyone want to compare notes via PM?
