Big, well-constructed grid, and tidy meta.

But you agreed 4 minutes after I did, so... (here's where you say "Hmmm... '4'... rings a bell. Now where have I... OH YEAH! I'm number 4 on the MGWCC leaderboard... what number are you???")

Haha I would never think like that, because A) I couldn't even solve his week 3 on my own! Hence my streak of two. And B) I haven't solved YOUR meta yet!!

But you still hold the upper hand: you got the big one; one of the toughest of the year. Are you Zooming tonight? Maybe we'll have a lively discussion on 'How I solved the MGWCC' ." You first.

I think of these 5 muggle women as our very own "Double-O agents", Karen being 004.

Too bad Matt extended the deadline. Would have loved hearing from all of our double-aughts, tonight.

You know me, full of lively discussion! :D

I'll probably skip the Zoom tonight, so someone who actually speaks can use my Hollywood square. Although I tend to think that most weeks, and then still find myself logging in. I guess you all are just irresistible.

Neat puzzle. I was happy just to finish the grid before next Tuesday. The meta is a bonus.

I forgot about the PGWCC because of the MMMM, then wondered why people were resurrecting the "Twist" discussion.

Really impressed by the grid construction; I'll take a handful of short clunkers in exchange for the long stacks. My day job tuned me into the key to the solving mechanism, although I dug up a shallow rabbit hole before applying the mechanism correctly.

Well, I got through the grid. Do you have any idea what my Google bill will be?

Whoa, when I clicked open this puzzle, my head started spinning!

Pitiful gag, but truly, with this size of a grid, from PGW (who never goes easy on us), I did feel intimidated.

Amazingly, I painstakingly worked through the grid without googling (assuming that, yes, I got 56d, 83a, 65a, and 107d correct, through context) — and freaked out, because I thought I’d then need to do some way-beyond-me thinking.

But happily, the meta solution came fairly easily.

Quite a construction!

And fun!

Got it! I wasn't sure what to expect, seeing that grid, but it was pretty fun to work through. And the meta was surprisingly... possible, remembering the "Do the Twist" puzzle!

(I can't remember the source now, but I read a bit recently with somebody pretending to be Chubby Checker in 1961 when he gets an idea: "Hey, what if I record basically the same song again and see if I can make another boatload of money?" And he did!)

I thought you might have an advantage with this one after reading a post of yours from earlier in the day.
