I guess the cat didn't think those flowers were best buds!
---
Hello hello! We start the third inaugural Summer of Solves, which means a puzzle every Saturday until Labor Day. Look at this graphic that doesn't change:
Wow!
---
Puzzle #93 answer: TONI MORRISON
Correct entries: 78, a real Level 1!
@BrennerTJ gets a noble prize (not the Nobel Prize but this one is just as good) for her graphics!
Explanation: Eight entries contain a permutation of the letters I, N, O, and T; the most notable permutation not present is TONI, a nod to TONI MORRISON, the winner of the 1993 (numeric tie-in!) Nobel Prize for Literature and the answer to the meta.
---
This might trend toward Level 2.5, but I presume it'll track more like Level 2.
---
94. Garden of Wildflowers
The answer to the meta is a 4-word pun on a title, only changing its first word.
Deadline is Saturday, June 1 at 1 pm ET.
Good luck, and may all your solves be beautiful!

Fun puzzle! Now back to slogging at the Gaffney...
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

Grid done and four “things” found, but the title pun thing so far is eluding me. I think i must be missing some of the (garden) path, or maybe just not a natural punner! (If anyone wants to help me find the scent, feel free!)
UPDATE - wait a sec… i see that i have a bit more work to do. No nudges yet
UPDATED AGAIN: of course now I see it. Was in too big a hurry.
This was fun!

I've got seven "things" and was looking to figure out an eighth, but now it seems like I have too many???
If anyone wants to message me, I'd like to ask some specific questions before getting too generous of a nudge.
UPDATE: I found what I was missing and then Boom! There it was. Elicited a big groan from me as I figured it out. Nice!

Bespoke nudges available upon request (if I'm on shore).
Let me know how small or large a hint you want, or hit me with a specific question(s).

Well now, that was a pleasant walk in the fields! I was afraid I had pollen on hard times and doubt was ready to sepal through me, but I figured I saw where the mechanism stemmed from. I may put WIldflowers on my bouquet list.
Thanks Mikey
Thanks Mikey
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!
