Flying, so it took me a bit of extra time to get to the puzzle and submit, but now awaiting the board update.

Lucky #6 on the board.

I had to search to finish 50D and three crossings. Now I have a start on the meta, but it is a week 4, so we'll see.

Up at the innings position. Definitely a crunchy grid in places, but once you have it, it's a no-doubter. Fun one!

The title reminds me of "How Well Do You Follow Directions?," a Dell staple that was renamed as "Simon Says" sometime during the Penny Press merger. Here's a sample (I didn't write this one, but I already like the opening phrase!). I remember I made a few of these for my elementary school teachers, some of whom solved them!

Good luck, and happy weekend! Go Cubs!

Beam up requested. There’s one thing I don’t quite understand, but regardless, this has to be it.

Ditto the 50 down comment.
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.

(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

No wonder the teachers always liked you more than me. I would only offer to take the erasers outside and clap them against the wall.

Awaiting transporter beam.

For me, week 2 this month was harder. This was on par with last week for difficulty. (IMO, YMMV)

Edit: Beamed up.

And not that my comment, above, was a complaint. Not at all. I enjoyed the puzzle, and like that level of difficulty. Also, I have too much to do this weekend to want to be tearing my hair out

On the board at #54! We were unable to completely fill out the grid with certainty, due to too many obscure clues. But, it turned out to be fun in the end.

We are always happy to get to know other muggles and help in any way! PM's are always welcome. The next best thing to winning a mug is helping a fellow muggle win a mug!

Submitted with a high degree of confidence. Loved this one (assuming I got the right answer 😝)

Edit: on the board! My love is affirmed.

Beam-up requested. Took me a bit to get all the nuances but it's 100%.

Edit: #65! Playing on the easier side for a week 4, and I don't disagree (but also I'm not complaining).

Well, I've removed the scotch tape off the package but can't find the instructions on how to use the scissors. I'm sure they've got to be here somewhere.

EDIT: Okay, my very first thought of what to do with the scissors was correct but I had dust on my glasses for a few hours. ... And, for the first time I'm aware of, one of my favorite resources I use failed me.

EDIT 2: Beamed at #83. Pity I didn't have faith in myself for a solo. (Discord confirmed I had absolutely the right idea and the right mechanics, and it had a two-by-four to the head). I recently got a tattoo to my forehead than I'm going to have to get removed and replaced with "Wash your glasses with a soft cloth before solving".

Funny story. I was all set to enter Par for the course for the CrossHare midi contest for April but I mistakenly thought midi meant 7x 7 and not 11 x 11. Oops. Well.... Here's a complex but **small** meta on the subject of golf.

Beamed at #67. Crunchy grid. Not quite a week 4 IMHO. A 5 week month coming up next, folks!

Awaiting beam. I had the right mechanism, but I made a few errors (thanks @ajk and discord crew for setting me straight 🙂)

Beamed!
