Is this really a postponement or does the Saturday puzzle occasionally get issued on Friday? 🤣

Ada is about the same age as my daughter, and if they're anything alike, the postponements don't surprise me 😂

Beamed thanks to brief but fun group solve. Good thing, since I lacked a key piece of knowledge. :)

:alien: :flying_saucer: Barely squeaked into the top twelve. And at 5 foot 1, I probably *AM* 57-down ;)

This threw me as well!

Up at pewter, which may have been closer to silver or bronze had I not tried to make my weekly punny apropos comment (Matt loves them, I'm sure).

I had no idea what was going on there. Which is where I am with the meta, as well.
Happy to give nudges. If you notice I've solved, please tell me about avenues you've explored so I can nudge you in the right direction and not off a cliff.

I have two incomplete entries in the grid, on which I'm stumped: 57A and 57D, both 3 letters long. Anyone else have the same issue?

57A took me a while too, sadly the meta seems to be taking a while longer :)
