I really enjoyed yesterday’s April 11 NYT crossword! It was nearly a meta puzzle. Anyway I got some aha moments out of it!

I routinely do LAT, NYT, NYer, and WSJ daily puzzles, but don’t always get to all of them. So when someone calls out one here that they particularly like, I always appreciate it, then rush to to do it if I haven’t already. Just returning the favor.

Also, often do the WaPo on Sunday, especially if it’s a meta. Last Sunday’s wasn’t exactly a meta either, but a lot of fun. “Playing the Hits” and it reminded me of a Muggle Meta quite awhile ago.

Pretty sure I am ashore— just need to make sure my answer is all there is to it.

A fun puzzle to solve, leaving the solvers only with one question - how is it possible to construct something this complex?

Thanks Mike. You create a lot of enjoyment for all of us.

Really dislike doing these on my phone! But hey that's the price of travel. Here's the country I am (ashore) in...

I shut down my computer last night after completing the grid so Mr. Hidden and I could continue watching some of the series we watched back in the day. Last night our bingeing included three episodes of "Suits". Had a great AHA moment this morning almost immediately after pulling up the puzzle! Happy to be ashore so that I can devote more time to yardwork this weekend!

An interesting challenge from Mr. Shenk. So far we have 139 on the shore relaxing and enjoying the sunshine

Still working on the meta here. Think I found something but work calls. I have a meeting across campus until 2pm so probably no zoom time for me. Here's hoping!

Feel's good to be on the shore. Not happening very often these days. I was late getting home last night, worked the grid and saw something that I thought might really be something. I was kind of on the right track, but just couldn't make it work. Looked again a few minutes ago and saw the light. I will have a glass of cabernet a little later.
