If that doesn’t work, download the Discord App, join, and look for WSJ Group Solve.

Interesting article in the WSJ today about the beginnings of the popularity of crosswords in early 20th century.

We are always happy to get to know other muggles and help in any way! PM's are always welcome. The next best thing to winning a mug is helping a fellow muggle win a mug!

Finally back on the shore again! Now Mr. Hidden doesn't have to listen to me gripe about being too stupid to solve the meta. He kindly asks me what my status is when he returns from the golf course on Friday and/or Saturday afternoon. After the last three weeks of my sullen negative replies, I think he was almost as happy as I was that I solved this one.

Nice cartoon! Looks as though the 3 primates in the cage on the left, who are sitting on the elevated bar, just solved one of the "Muller's Monthly Music Meta" puzzles. The prompt was "This month's meta answer is a successful band from the '60's who were originally a fictional band created for a sitcom."

Don't believe me? Just repeat to yourself, "I'm a Believer."

That could be so, so many bands. Well, okay, two.

If you allowed "variety show", then maybe three?

A year too late:

Are there others?

I’ll take a hint! I think I’m being too literal again with the title. Or maybe not literal enough. Who knows. Isaac staring at me. Getting annoying. 🫣😂. I’ve got nothing!!!

Packing for the semi-annual migration. Forgot about the puzzle after printing it.

Picked it up this morning and jumped on the jet ski to the very crowded beach.

Getting whiplash from hanging with Isaac most weeks, with the interspersed occasions where the beach is full before I can get a reservation on the launch.

Ashore. My difficulty with the grid lead me to a very quick solution to the meta.
