New Yorker cryptic

#1

Post by Katiedid »

I just read about the New Yorker's changes to their crossword puzzle schedule. No more Sunday Cryptics! I know it was rarely mentioned here, probably because they were relatively easy. But I really enjoyed them on Sunday mornings. Some of the clues made me LOL. It was good for a less experienced cryptic solver like me. I'll miss it!

I read about it yesterday when The Rackenfracker posted their cryptic.
I am HEARTbroken. It was an integral part of my Sunday morning.

Thank you for posting the news here.

If you hadn’t done so, I would have kept checking The New Yorker site, as I have been since it lapsed.

Where was the official announcement posted?

They announced it on their site on March 18.
