We reached the crowded beach last night. Very nice after a dry spell.

At long last ...

I did not find this as that word as everyone else in the universe did, but a win is a gratefully accepted win.

Belatedly on the shore.

Good Saturday morning muggles

Welcome to our newest muggles - Wordnerd23, IHeartMusic and ELSavage. Always great to have more muggles

The ship's tenders have been busy bringing muggles to shore. We have 203 enjoying the sun currently and Isaac is taking the opportunity of an empty bar to restock.

Let me know if I missed anyone getting to shore.

Ashore. Came up with two answers and almost submitted the first one, but then remembered Mike Shenk's usual precision and went with the second. I had the same English teacher in high school all four years. (Very small rural school; but she may have been the best teacher I ever had over 20+ years of education. Freshman year was nothing but grammar, but then the next three years were like multi-topic seminars.) She definitely gets credit for help with this! It also brought back great memories of long ago high school.

Ashore in Tirana, Albania. The shore is specifically that of a small canal down the middle of the boulevard in front of the hotel, as the Adriatic Sea is some distance away. But it will do: a shore is a shore, and that is where I am.

On shore after a very long cruise! Actually got the aha moment yesterday, so soon after finishing the grid! But finally got back online this afternoon to post.

Ashore! πŸ–οΈ This was a classic "finished the grid on Thursday and had an idea of what the metanism hint was, spent all day Friday on NyQuil and DayQuil not thinking about the puzzle, had an idea at some point (maybe my 3:45AM snack break?), looked again on Saturday and saw that my idea was correct" solve.

That's a classic type of solve, right?
