Group solve pulled me kicking and screaming away from a very enticing shiny thing that was not the thing. Fun one to do in a group! As is sipping a cold one on a nice beach… beer me!

No herrings, but plenty of koi today at the Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park. And the azaleas are starting to bloom!

I got a rabbit hole that *should* be a metanism. Doesn't seem to be though. Maybe I'll make one of it. I think I may have an issue with one of the entries that I assume is supposed to be part of the mechanism. Can I ask someone if I'm being too picky or am I just making a wrong assumption?
Funny story. I was all set to enter Par for the course for the CrossHare midi contest for April but I mistakenly thought midi meant 7x 7 and not 11 x 11. Oops. Well.... Here's a complex but **small** meta on the subject of golf.

This required some thought. I came close to falling down an inviting rabbit hole, but that click just wasn't there. Tonight the right idea popped into my mind, and a quick search confirmed it, so I'm now happily on shore.
