Just getting to the puzzle now after missing both Zoom calls. Very busy weekend. Totally lost. Will have to enjoy Isaac's company until the answer is revealed... :?

To me the best clue was reversing the title to Five Round

It's amazing how your brain, without even thinking about let alone looking at the puzzle, will be like "Hey random thought, I think this is the answer". I'm amazed by how subconsciously the brain always keeps working. Ashore.

Onshore only because I was towed here. No mug submission--again. Sigh. Good luck to those who solved!

Good evening muggles

Our final count is 24 on the ship with Isaac and 127 on the shore

Good luck winning the mug. It should be solid odds this week

Sigh. 10 minutes to deadline. We are still at the bar with 7D

Looks like our streak will end at 15. :(

Figured it out with a nudge from zoom after a couple of other nudges from DavyGravy and Ship4us. Clever puzzle!
If you see me on the beach, feel free to pm for a nudge. After all the help I’ve got, I am happy to send it forward when I can!

Nope. Anybody else fatally distracted by the fact that, except for white, those colors are the same as the Olympic rings? And a paper plate could be green. No idea what to do from there, but I couldn't let it go.

Yes! I was even trying to convince myself that a paper plate might be green as in eco-friendly. I couldn't figure out the largest to smallest, but Google told me that the five rings represented five inhabited continents (counting The Americas as one). So I was assigning The Americas to "paper plate", Asia to "hockey puck", etc, down to Oceania and "Lemon slice". I thought this might produce some three- and four-letter combos I could find somewhere, but no.

Thinking of them as rings did help me quickly go to archery when I got a nudge to drop the Olympic rings idea.

My submission was Rings. Paper plate = green ware.
All other colors are clear enough. Those five colors are the colors of the Rings of the Olympic flag. And Rings is an Olympic gymnastics event.

As far as largest, the green ring represents Australia (continent with most letters) and for smallest, the yellow ring represents Asia (fewest letters).

This is two weeks in a row missing the meta. Been a couple of years since that’s happened.

I fell for the Olympic rings, and “missing the green” — golf! And the colors of the golf box starting tees! Except for the pesky largest and smallest obvious hints! Also tantalizingly close to bowls and croquet. Didn’t feel right though!

Edit: Dan helped bring me to my senses though! We’ll share the “mug”.

Had the target idea with the five rings but only thought of shooting.
