81. Three by Three

The answer to the meta is where you might be when you solve it.

Deadline is Saturday, February 3 at 1 pm ET.

Good luck, and may all your solves be beautiful!

Same, haha. (If I can withstand the falls, "drop the Mike" will have to be a thing!).

PUN one as usual.

I was trying a more complicated mechanism that worked in four areas. I will keep it to myself in case I ever try to be a constructor. I could probably be convinced to give it up though.

Solved, after a couple of lazy guesses!
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

Very much enjoyed testing this and coming up with the solution, but, well, sorry Mikey...

We're already up to 28 solvers! Believe it or not, I was really worried that nobody would be on my wavelength for this one. It's playing more like a Level 2 or 2.5, but I'm fine with that!

My week is all messed up because I was out of town for a few days including the weekend. Just sitting down to this one.

Didn’t start this til Wed. night and here to say (after figuring it out Thursday morning), “y’all need to do this one! It’s really fun!” Thanks for the mid-week diversion.

Oh, right. I should get back to this...
Funny story. I was all set to enter Par for the course for the CrossHare midi contest for April but I mistakenly thought midi meant 7x 7 and not 11 x 11. Oops. Well.... Here's a complex but **small** meta on the subject of golf.

Oh, right, I have the PCC, the MMM, the MOAT, and the MEOW - and the WSJ is coming out later. What do you mean I have other responsibilities??
