Puzzle #93: Cold Opens

Difficulty: Easy
The answer to this week's meta are things you (probably) see more often in the winter.
Google? No. Bing? Also, no.
Crosshare link: https://crosshare.org/crosswords/HIbGCb ... cold-opens

The deadline for this puzzle is 9:00am eastern time on Sunday, January 28, 2024.

Another fun (and seasonable) one from Will!
Good luck, fellow Muggles!

🦕🦕🦕🚞. Thanks Will. I’m having Crosshare issues. It never moves on from checking for previous play data, so I’m unable to submit.
Edit: Used my desktop and was successful.

So easy it was hard.
Funny story. I was all set to enter Par for the course for the CrossHare midi contest for April but I mistakenly thought midi meant 7x 7 and not 11 x 11. Oops. Well.... Here's a complex but **small** meta on the subject of golf.

Dino me. Like some others, made this way too hard. Oh well -- at least I finally got it.

Dino me finally. After trying to overcomplicate matters, the answer popped up after I did a bit of outside work this afternoon and then took a fresh look.

Thanks Will
