Take a Change on Me - January, 2024

A monthly, music-themed meta crossword published at noon on the first Tuesday of every month. The puzzles increase in difficulty each month, and at year end there is a 13th puzzle (the "Mega-Meta") that invokes each of the 12 monthly puzzles. Currently available at https://pmxwords.com/, as well as through the Washington Post website here: MMMM at WaPo

Very straightforward theme, but that didn't stop this from being delightful.

Every year I do the first two or three MMMMs and then start trailing off - let's see how long I last this year :P

On the board last night. I wish the grid was as quick as the solve.

If you're an MMMM fan, you might enjoy the most recent podcast episode @AnswerPfinder and I did, with guest @docison. No spoilers for the January 2024 meta, but a couple spoilers for 2023 puzzles and for the 2023 mega-meta. (Also, if you've ever wondered how on earth someone speed-solves a crossword, this is the podcast episode for you!)

Didn't get around to solving this one until today, so not on the board. But still had fun.
