Take a Change on Me - January, 2024

"Take a Change on Me" by Pete Muller, Mack Meller, and Andrew White

The meta is a famous musician

That was fun! And I'm really looking forward to seeing the video next Tuesday.
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.

(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

Still awaiting official website confirmation of being on board, but this one was a slam dunk, not sure how I could be wrong!

Edit: officially on board!

About as straightforward as a meta gets- might be a good one to send to aspiring meta-solvers. Fun, decently tough grid, too.

Definitely looking forward to the video! Completely forgot today was PMX day - time to meta was 6:16.

Here's to a great '24 ahead of magnificent musical metas!

:notes: On the board. Very tough grid for me, but the meta is a true level one IMHO. Looking forward to the video!

Decided to finally take a crack at the MMMM this year — I know next to nothing when it comes to popular music, but I keep hearing such nice things about the puzzles I figured I gotta give it a go. On the board for January; here's to a fun year of solves ahead!

1st time ever on the board! Normally I figure out the patterns pretty easily but overthink the answer and chicken out of submitting it! So glad I didn't this time!

Brilliant start to a new year of MMMM! Very clever meta, this one.
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

Done and submitted. Wish I could remember to do these when posted. Was probably done in about the same time as Domino's Pizza used to claim for delivery time.
If I'm around, I am willing to join the Muggle Zoom room at other times to lend a hand to those in need.

A tough grid for me, as is often the case with Pete's. And yes, the meta was equivalent to a week 1. (Or a January MMMM, I suppose.)

But I enjoyed it! And I also look forward to the video. (But which song...?)

Just got to this at bedtime but thankfully won’t have to stay up late! Fun but quick meta. Waiting for confirmation I’m on the board.

Fun! Every year I pledge to start looking early for the Mega...usually around mid-December I print them all out again having forgotten and thrown out all my hardcopy. And I still don't get it!
