Another fine PB puzzle. You really have to get a number of the answers before you can figure out how they fit in. I like the matching top and bottom row letters, that always helps.

Did that instead of WSJ so I could feel good about something!

Another PB winner! And I did it to boost my confidence before giving MGWCC "week one" another shot

When I say “easier” it’s relative to his other puzzles. His puzzles are never easy

What a fun puzzle! My trouble spot was #37, in which I got six out of the seven letters wrong.

Agree. Once I got a foothold, I zipped through, relatively speaking.

Patrick Berry is my favorite puzzle constructor bar none
But I found this particularly difficult and made such a muck of the grid I had to abandon it

You really have to use the fact that the top and bottom rows are the same. That’s a big help. I’m a big fan of these puzzles

Was positive of the word for #1 but could fathom no quotation (or words) beginning with those letters regardless of positioning. Whole thing just kind of turned into a dogs breakfast.
Also never heard of the individual being quoted and could find only a couple of quotes totaling 28 letters.
I put the puzzle out of its and my misery.
Thanks, though.

Finally got to this. Once I got a foothold it went pretty smoothly, but boy, getting that foothold took awhile.

I like to write 7 slots on the left side of each row with the circled numbers (5 of them) and fill them in as I go along. The first 4 words of the quote came quickly by doing that

A picture would help.
