I’ve got a bunch of pieces but can’t seem to put it all together if anyone is able to help with a nudge!

Aside from the irony of being on a literal boat at the moment, I am going to declare myself tentatively on shore. If this was an extremely clear answer then I am clearly in the woods.

Due to a busy weekend I was happily hanging with Isaac after exploring a persistent rabbit hole. But son picked it up and solved quickly! It made me want to get back in the water and he ended up dragging me gasping and winded but on shore! Kas 5 for me. Kas 1 for son.

FWIW I thought it was an extremely clear answer. OTOH there is one specific aspect of metanism, that, so for as I can tell, is not referenced dealt with in the puzzle anywhere.
Funny story. I was all set to enter Par for the course for the CrossHare midi contest for April but I mistakenly thought midi meant 7x 7 and not 11 x 11. Oops. Well.... Here's a complex but **small** meta on the subject of golf.

Late posting this but I am ashore. Off to a neighborhood party (walking home is nice tonight!) where I will uncork, and enjoy, a bottle of Compas Box Flaming Heart.

Happy New Year Everyone!

Gonna see if Isaac will let me wash glasses and cut limes to pay off my large and growing bar tab. Happy New Year to you all and better luck next time to me.

On the beach with 4.5 hours to spare!

Swim included a partial rabbit hole that was quickly corrected. Then immediately spotted the mechanism when I came back a day later.

It's gonna be a dry midnight this NYE, so just sipping the sparkling cider on the beach right now. Maybe a gin & tonic to ring in the new year a little later.

Happy new year, all!

Happy new year, everyone! :D

I take it all back about WSJ metas being too US-centric. Because this puzzle was a stunning tribute to 80's Australian culture by way of a South African comedy movie that defined my teens!

(Another entry for the Rabbit!)

Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!
