Finally made it to shore, and with a helpful nudge at that. This one was a challenge for me.

Thanks again BarbaraK for pointing me in the right direction! Classic Shenk puzzle that I probably should have gotten right away. Finally ashore!

Needed some help to get there, but I'm ashore now. My excuse is that I was in Minneapolis this weekend to celebrate my brother's 60th birthday. Here's the proof - me and some of my siblings at LynLake Brewery

Managed to figure it out just before zoom call. Started down the hard path before spotting the direct route.

Ashore!

Our final count is 6 on the ship and 189 on the shore.

Good luck winning the mug

I don't know if anybody else posted about this--if so, apologies for the repeat, but:

A big shout out to Cruise Director Bob for Isaac's festive hat! (See the Xwords Forum banner at the top of this page!)

You know...that's all I meant to say here--but I'm just going to note that Isaac's spiffy chapeau is the least of it--I'm so grateful for this weird group, and awed at the continuing time and attention that goes into keeping this site going. Speaking just for myself...thank you, thank you, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Best, -Kas
