Good evening muggles

Our final count is 2 on the ship and 214 on the shore. Good luck winning the mug.

@whimsy and her rabbits will be opening the forum next Thursday.

Have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving. If you are driving somewhere, even locally, be safe.

Somewhat to my surprise (and pretty much at the last minute) I find myself ashore!

Arrgh! I can't believe I forgot to submit again this weekend!

Oh well, with this crowd my chances were small.
Funny story. I was all set to enter Par for the course for the CrossHare midi contest for April but I mistakenly thought midi meant 7x 7 and not 11 x 11. Oops. Well.... Here's a complex but **small** meta on the subject of golf.

Half way through this puzzle, I was reminded of the Hey Jude puzzle from a while back, with all the Na Na’s in it.

Hopefully for me (along with Moon Man) when the daughter and son-in-law bring some for Thanksgiving.

BTW, trivia time,
"These go to eleven" is also the title of a Matt Gaffney puzzle from 3/13/2020.Makes me wonder how long Matt has been sitting on this puzzle idea.
Good luck to all for a successful solve. If you see that I'm ashore - rare occasion of late - message me if you'd like a nudge. Be sure to include your progress so I can know better how to assist.

Uhg I counted the "AMP"s but was thinking of movie title length, not how high I could crank it up to.

Haven't watched the movie, yet.

First interwebbed "amps 1980s movie" and THIS IS SPINAL TAP was the featured result, but I was too lazy to investigate why.

Returned after a short break and interwebbed "11 amps 1980s movie" and TiST was the overwhelming result.

Was there a method of solving that did not depend on particular movie knowledge? I never made progress at all on this meta, so I'm wondering if I'm just blind to the obvious or, alternatively, this one was just out of reach.
For nudges, feel free to PM me. I won't have a clue how to help you, but you might shove me ashore.
