MEOW #155 I Am Generally Well-known

Here's another MEOW from Down Under! This one is definitely on the harder side, I think. But there are hints to be had for those paying close attention. The answer to the meta is a composer (and it's not one of the composers in the image below!)

The easiest way to submit is on Crosshare (and you get instant feedback and unlimited attempts!) But you can also PM me with your submission. Either way, I'll compile a list of those who successfully solve the meta.

I Am Generally Well-known - Crosshare
I Am Generally Well-known - PUZ
I Am Generally Well-known - PDF
I Am Generally Well-known - EXCEL

Kitten
Calico
Persian
Puma
Lion

Nudges are here.
The solution is here.

Cat free and quite proud of her dexterity. (Despite stumbling on the answer rather than pouncing.). Great puzzle! Those long entries!

I kept seeing the sign to exit but continued to drive past it...clever mechanism Ben. I needed an assist from @rjy to get me to take the off ramp.

I guess I better conduct myself better in the future:

Nudges, in order of increasing blatancy:

1. There are two hints in the grid: 1A and 71A. 1A tells you that anagrams are involved. 71A hints at what is being anagrammed.

2. The 3 long entries have some letters in common. But because anagrams are involved it might be harder to spot than usual.

3. The first 6 letters of the 3 long entries (and the puzzle title!) are all anagrams of what the 2nd letter stands for in the acronym MEOW.

4. Another way of referring to "ENIGMA anagrams" would be "ENIGMA variations".
