But not sure how the title, answer, and meta all relate to each other.

On the board. Agree with others that the grid was TOUGH. But the meta was... (the 'E' word).

Just as I was about to PM someone for a nudge, I looked again. But yes, that left-center territory required some Googling. I knew neither Florence nor her machine, ditto the Indian caves, and the clue for the entry in between was cute but flawed.

If someone has a gentle nudge, I could use one. I have a couple different tracks that seem to lead nowhere

Solving this one kinda bummed me out, as I had been working on the same mechanism (with a much tighter answer) for possible submission to the big leagues.

Isn't November supposed to be the hardest MMMM? Maybe I just got lucky.

That left center section of the grid though - just couldn't get any traction on.

On the mega-meta front, I found exactly what I expected to find and still don't know what to do with it to get any 70s songs.

Yes! A little too well in fact, we have to come up creative ways to keep him awake during mealtime.

Never mind. I finally got it!

Tough grid and had to let it sit for a few days...took a fresh look at it this morning, saw a path, and got it! Nice after missing the October one (and August).

This one popped right out for me for some reason.

Nice seeing familiar muggle names show up on Pete’s write-up, esp @MikeyG (of course!) showing up in the groaners… I groaned too
