Agree with Meg! Smooth, easy solve, but still very well done. I enjoyed it.

I agree with the previous comments, plus I learned a new word from 14 Across.

I beg to differ with the "meta-ish" answer. The real prize is getting yet another marvel from HEX to solve!
Contest Crosswords Combating Cancer (CCCC) is a bundle of 16 metapuzzles created to help raise money for cancer-related charities. It is available at CrosswordsForCancer.com.

Must be pretty easy because I solved the grid, but the directions are a cryptic step beyond.

I know what the letter are.

Not what they attach to.

Small potatoes.

It was fun to solve the grid.

I think it's okay to post this behind a spoiler tag. If anyone disagrees, please report to a moderator ASAP (haha)...

I guessed half of this but the other half is eluding me.

I am seeing this as a comment all over the place.

I solved the grid and figured-out the two letters. I haven’t even thought about what other entry they refer to.

I guess I am not done yet.

Ok I finally got it. The problem was I actually had the answer to this wrong by a single letter which had bothered me all along.

Another winner from HEX. These two are legends!
If I’ve solved and you need a nudge, you can PM me. Happy to pay it forward. ;)
