Ashore. Did you ever have a grid half done and closed the file without saving? I think that means I should have more than one beer, thank you very much.

I have a classic TV show that is well known and fits, but it is not a 100%. It will be interesting to see how many different answers there are for this one!

OK, finally had the confirming bit of evidence pointed out, so now I'm ashore.

On the shore but a lot of googling. Definitely an OH fur. Heard of few. Saw none - correction - saw one.

My wife has requested that Matt do one on PBS shows.

Ashore4us. Not in our wheelhouse, but very clever.

Some Cotswolds cheese with double dark Splitz Pretzels, please. With a Smithwick's Red Ale, of course!

Ashore 100% - took some mental gymnastics! Like it- and time for some Pét-nat wine!

If I don't win a mug, I can always make one... ;) but it won't have the same cachet.

I think I'm ashore, but I've never heard of this show, so I'll try to confirm.

Edit: Confirmed and ashore.

On shore with the help of some back-and-forth with fellow Muggles.

I've already had four shots, so I'll JUST STOP for now. Or maybe not...

Like @Wendy Walker, I see the obvious. I'd heard of half the shows in the grid.
Unfortunately, I'm a bit stuck. I've been looking through lists of classic TV shows to no avail. From the other comments I'm not the only one having difficulty.

Unrelated to the meta, the famous regatta Head of the 8D is this weekend. I rowed in it 2 years ago. I wonder if Matt put that in intentionally.

Hmmm, I think I'm on shore. OK, let's say I am on shore. I'll take an "Old Fashioned", barperson.

Edit: I am not on the right beach, apparently. Back to the drawing board...

Edit: Oh, so that's the right beach! The answer was not at all familiar to me, which made it much harder than it needed to be. I'm calling this one a miss, which is two in a row. This is not the kind of streak I want to maintain!

Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

OK, I got it! I had in fact heard of the show but could not tell you the first thing about it ... other than the title, which is all I care about right this minute! Why, yes, that's me, dancing around Muggle Beach shaking a container of a "classic" licorice candy.
Good luck, fellow Muggles!
