That cat needs a break.

---

We're back to bimonthly puzzles (if in fact that means twice a month) here in Muggles World, and I thank all of you for a successful Summer of Solves! I'll be finalizing the leaderboard below, which sets it in stone, and I'll be getting out the treats over the next several weeks! I'll also be giving Ginger Cat treats too, don't worry!

---

---

2. We are back to an every other week schedule, which means difficulty is a little more transient. This one should log in, ideally, at no more than a Level 2.

70. We're Coming Apart!

The answer to the meta is a numerical sports term.

Deadline is Saturday, September 23 at 1 pm ET.

Good luck, and may all your solves be beautiful!

Mikey G

Grid took me a while but great how many things came together, rather than apart! I just need to learn how to count.
Thanks, Mikey!

I solved a sports-themed meta! Yay me!! Cool puzzle, MikeyG.

Now I'm wondering what the prize is for coming 17th! :D
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

Tougher cluing than a typical MikeyG. I liked it!

Very fun puzzle --- even though I haven't solved the meta --- and I'll be shocked if you know about Roy Wood's bands "The Move" and "Wizzard". Thx again for keeping us amused with your keen sense of humor!

A solid 32 so far have come apart, so I'm thinking this is a fair Level 2 or maybe a Level 2.25, haha.

Half of my face would be covered in crosswords, the other half in Cubbies.

Well I certainly needed Google. Not in my wheelhouse. But thanks for the noodling Mikey! Took me awhile.

There have been a couple of puzzles over the last few years in which people will say the grid seems harder than usual. This is always serendipitous! (Or the opposite of it in a bad way if you don't like challenging cluing, haha).

Got a nudge. Still did not see it. Actually asked Mikey for help but then woke up in the middle of the night with the path clearly laid out.

Hmmm.. thought for sure I had commented on here. (Maybe my comment is on a wrong board somewhere, making no sense.)

Google led me to a perfectly legit but wrong answer (I was assuming I would not know the term being referred to). When that one struck out, I looked again, made a new game plan, and teed up a second one that I felt would hit the mark. Gooooaaaalllll! (See, I can do sportsing talk too!)

Still not seeing anything. Will there be nudges, perhaps? (He asked hopefully).
