This week's WSJ contest is titled "Name-Dropping" By Mike Shenk

The answer to this week’s contest crossword is a five letter adjective.

Name-Dropping spreadsheet

A quick reminder. The WSJ will not be published on Monday so the answer will not be posted and you will have to wait until Tuesday to get the email that you have won the mug.

However we will have the answer here after 12:01am Monday morning and there will be the usual discussions and lamentations to amuse the rabbit.

Now off to get Kimball's Ice Cream before the mobs of the weekend. https://kimballfarm.com/location/westford/

Ashore

Impressed he was able to execute this idea as cleanly as he did.

Ashore. Interesting that the grid popped up with 'congrats' on completion. They usually don't do that on Fridays.

On shore. Even with a convicted murderer on the loose in my county!
Sorry, folks, should have given more details than that. This idiot who stabbed his girlfriend to death in front of her 2 kids was just convicted of murder last week and sentenced to life without parole. They took him to our little county lockup in preparation for sending him to a more secure state prison, but he escaped this morning! I guess he has nothing to lose. Nearby schools went on lockdown immediately. Police have dogs, drones, and helicopters searching for this guy -- in fact there's a helicopter flying over really low right now. I will definitely be locking my doors tonight! Let's hope he headed toward a more populated area instead of out here in the boondocks -- but of course not toward you, @Streroto, @HunterX and @cbarbee002!
