That was a tough and methodical solve!

As I started this puzzle, I thought to myself: "I'll never get all this". But lo and behold, everything fell into place. In ink, even. Another winner from HEX.

This was a good one from HEX. So many magic rings and then to figure out what method to use on each one. Definitely kept me occupied for a bit.

Today is a cryptic day. I knocked off the weekend FT cryptic and then found this one. I really enjoyed it—the clueing was excellent as always and the theme was brilliant.

Got to this one late. (We were away.) I’m glad I didn’t let it pass. Much fun! As with many variety cryptics, I started slow, then got a decent foothold — and it rolled fairly steadily from there.

Very satisfying solve. I like to keep the HEX for when I have time to savor it, so I'm late to the party. ;)
