A weekly meta crossword on the forum started by member Josh (aka madhatter5). These puzzles are often very creative with solving mechanisms out of the norm and skewing towards the more challenging. Puzzles are posted every Wednesday, and the solution appears the following Tuesday.
Welcome to the 133rd installment of the MEOW! I was very excited when @DrTom invited me to guest host today because I have what I think is a very MEOW-worthy puzzle for y'all. It shouldn't be too difficult to solve the meta - probably a Level 1.5 or so - but I've tried to push the envelope a bit with Easter egg hiding. In fact, to make things more interesting, I'm going to award a special prize to one lucky solver (chosen at random) who correctly finds and submits (via PM) my hidden eggs (minimum of 12 grid entries)*. There's more than one way to skin a cat, right?
*Update: Early solvers are finding a few additional Easter eggs in the grid. Let's say you need to find at least a dozen eggy entries to qualify for the special prize.
