I've submitted and am #5 on the board. Grid was quite tricky (and big!).

Right behind the one who's right behind you! (Grid was thorny in a few places, agreed!)

Grid was, understandably, pretty tough. But the mechanism was nifty. Seems like maybe a make-up week 2?

I wanted to throw my laptop out the window trying to complete the grid. But now that I see what he did, all is forgiven. I should be beamed aboard soon.
Happy to give nudges. If you notice I've solved, please tell me about avenues you've explored so I can nudge you in the right direction and not off a cliff.

I agree it was a tough grid.

Looks like I'm not going to get a square meal today. Grid done, but still pondering over what Matt wants me to do to earn that meal.

So... did he.... Dunno.

He wouldn't, would he? Oh, no he didn't! Yes. He did.

I did. I got it but... do you .....?
Funny story. I was all set to enter Par for the course for the CrossHare midi contest for April but I mistakenly thought midi meant 7x 7 and not 11 x 11. Oops. Well.... Here's a complex but **small** meta on the subject of golf.
