I finished the grid and had nothing, nothing, nothing, and then BAM!!

Fun "aha" moment!

I'm still at the "nothing" stage!
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

Awww! That was cute!

I did as 68A said, even though I was asking myself "why?" That made it perfect!
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.

(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

This one was cute! Reminded me of a PGWCC crossword from a long time ago (which I failed to solve -- fool me once). Also seems like an apt meta for Pete, since you could just change the prompt to "an American rock band" and have a solid MMMM puzzle.

This one took me far longer than it should have. To see why, click the spoiler button, but only if you've solved!
I didn't see the meta hint in 50 down since the clue was truncated in my app and I never looked at the clues on their own!

That brings me to the end of CCCC. Of the 15 puzzles that I didn't construct, I was able to solve 14 of them. Definitely lots of fun! Thanks @AnswerPfinder!

Grid gave me a little pause, lots of things not in my general knowledge area, but certainly doable with crosses. I kept looking for the mechanism, looking for the mechanism and then....

Nicely done and no easy constructing task I am sure.
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!

This one's taken me the longest to solve to date --( but still 4 more to go.)
Overnight thinking, and then had to convince myself to utilize every crumb to make the cookie!

Thank you, dynamic duo constructors!

Very fun! So many spoilers come to mind. A band (as mentioned previously) and several apt songs.

I really liked the way the answer "appeared from the mist" on this one.
