Impressive the way you made that work! Fun solve
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.

(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

Cool concept nicely executed. :D
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

Nicely done. There were a couple of Naticks for people of my generation, but I put them in the TIL till.

Solved. Good stuff, thanks. Definitely a couple of Naticks for me as well, but understandable given my lack of hipness.

I was a test solver (for the first time) on this one. I remembered the meta but the grid was still challenging. A combination of my lack of memory, some revisions and a different approach to filling based on what I figured out first kept it interesting.

Naticks for me too. Though when I look back, I believe that when I was young and should have been hip, I was an old soul even then. Someone throw on some Artie Shaw!

A fun meta. The grid was challenging because many of the clues were not in my wheelhouse

Thanks

Geezer with no musical wheelhouse here also :P -- but made it through Natick in spite of traffic on Route 135.

Reaching the solution made me feel competent once again!

And so far, my plan to approach these in reverse alphabetical puzzle title order is (Well, after only two puzzles thus far) proving to be the same as those folks doing them alphabetically by constructor.

Next it's the T's! --- 5 of them. So that'll be tomorrow since it's getting too late to try to figure out my ABCs forward, never mind bass-ackward.

Thanks for the puzzle, Ricky!

Thanks everyone!

If you don't mind, can you let me know where you were Naticked? I don't think the board has spoiler text so you can DM me.

My goal was to have the underlying grid solve like a themeless, around NYT Friday difficulty, since the meta is of modest difficulty. There's one entry that is legit but pretty tough - yet that isn't the one people seem to be mentioning!

Fun puzzle, and who would have though that was possible! Nicely done, though like other - probably somewhat senior - solvers I was flummoxed at times. The crossings helped but the Bad Bunny (don't listen tot that) and some of the authors/singers had to be filed with crossings or often not at all. Turns out I had never played that particular game by Hasbro either, I'm more of a marbles, Tidily Wink, Monopoly era guy.

I liked it though!!
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!
