I think the cat jumped out of the box a day early. To celebrate, here's a video about why cats like boxes.

I got the answer right, but apparently I was only close to the path. Patience.

Cat's out!
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

Ok, I swear I read the original post earlier and now I think I may have had a stroke rereading it.

(solid click, but awaiting confirmation)

Edited: confirmed. Enjoyed this one, Josh! Had to stare for quite a bit, but a nice aha! when the metanism revealed itself.

I tried to open PUZ file and got a message that the file type was not supported.

I completed the grid in kvassword but it disappeared.

I am without a printer so the pdf would mean creating the grid on paper.

Maybe I will wait until I get home tomorrow.

By the way in case anyone was wondering it's called kvassword because I used to make themed crosswords for Georgetown's Russian Studies program newsletter.

In case anyone is still wondering, kvass is a popular Russian beverage.

I know I'm hilarious.

I do have to admit, it never occur to me to ever think of 58D as a one hit wonder.
Funny story. I was all set to enter Par for the course for the CrossHare midi contest for April but I mistakenly thought midi meant 7x 7 and not 11 x 11. Oops. Well.... Here's a complex but **small** meta on the subject of golf.

The cat has finally escaped. Got home late Thursday and did not get this printed off until yesterday.

Fun one. I almost gave the ultimate spoiler by submitting the answer here rather than to Josh!
