I heard some people here like meta crosswords?

Puzzle #89: Room Service (contest crossword!)

There's a prize for this one if you're the randomly selected winner. Good luck!

Solved. Fun one, thanks! Time for a beverage.

Submitted! Thanks for the puzzle. :D
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

If this was some sort of sneaky, backdoor ad for your Patreon for those of us who are missing acrostics for some reason or another...it worked!

It took me a while to see too. In retrospect I'm not sure why.
Enjoyable puzzle - thanks!

It also took me awhile to see the answer. I figure "hey, why not actually submit an entry for once?" And of course it was 12:20 pm today (20 minutes too late) when I got it...

Wow...I noticed 2 "second halves" simultaneously and presumed the correct answer from the other 2 entry-ends...I didn't catch that both halves were part of it until seeing the solution.

I’m with the crew that didn’t get to this one until after the deadline. But I did get the fun of solving. That’s the real prize, isn’t it! Clever puzzle.
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.

(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

I also just found this puzzle, solved last night. Ten minutes of staring and then 💥

Nice one Alex!
