Hey Muggles... don't forget, solving on Easter Sunday gets you Matt's "Egg-cellent" achievement (and only 9.2% of solvers have this achievement), so you might want to resist the normal urge to send in this Week 1 immediately, and hold off until Sunday (unless you're also shooting for the "1-Across, Be the first solver" achievement). If you miss this year, I should remind you that next year's "Egg-cellent" achievement will require you to solve a Week 5!

I have solved but am following the sage advice of one @Al Sisti and not submitting until Sunday. I believe this will give me a complete set of achievements! #Goals.

Solved and submitted, then saw Al's advice. Oh well. I keep telling myself I do these because I enjoy them, not because of the insanely competitive part of me that has to maintain a streak, get the high score, etc.

I had fun with this week's and enjoyed the confirmation in one of the clues.

GODDAMM!!

I didn't even....

*goes to look up awards*

*PHEW* I earned that metal last year. (Sheesh, have I been doing these that long?)
Funny story. I was all set to enter Par for the course for the CrossHare midi contest for April but I mistakenly thought midi meant 7x 7 and not 11 x 11. Oops. Well.... Here's a complex but **small** meta on the subject of golf.

I totally forgot about the Easter achievement (although it turns out I already have it). No wonder I made the top 5 this week, with all of you speedy solvers holding off until Sunday!

Thanks for the reminder, @Al Sisti! I already have that one and need Tilghman and 1-Across (we can dream) to complete the 26-fecta.

Beamed up at lucky #7!

That explains so much about the number of solvers. (egg award). I guess I will wait two years.

LOL - now to remember to submit on Sunday to get the Easter badge which I forgot last year.

I have it on my calendar and now I have @Al Sisti to remind me.

Solved, awaiting beam.

I still don’t get the speed at which some people get their answers submitted. My e-mail didn’t come through until 2.04pm and there was already someone on the board!?! Then it takes me a good 5 minutes to solve enough of the grid to think about the solution, and likely another few minutes to feel sure I’m correct (and not risk ending my short, but 100% record) - at which point the top 10 has already filled up!!

Oh well.. UPDATE Beamed.

#24. I already had every achievement except 1-Across. I don't expect to ever get that one. Two minutes?! Great job, ricky!

Submitted, because I forgot about the badge.

And because I'd forget to submit on Sunday if I didn't.

And because I still have to finish taxes.

Which I should have been doing now instead of the meta-puzzle...

Or posting this message...

Which I'm still doing....

EDIT: Since I'm now on the list, I see that I actually already had the Easter Egg badge. Now I don't feel so badly.

Except about the taxes.....

Me too. Missed the "Eggs-ellent on Easter Sunday" note. Darn.

Anyway ...

Beamed!

And so in agreement!
