I am ashore -- sounds like some of us may be on the wrong shore? I'll find out tomorrow!

Maybe it is the obvious answer because Matt knew we’d all be busy with Easter and Passover. He took pity on us? Thanks Matt!

Declaring myself ASHORE. I concur that this one doesn't inspire maximum confidence, but i have nowhere else to go.

Whelp, I submitted an answer on Thursday, but yesterday I received a note from my email provider saying that my email was rejected as spam! Turns out, my provider had a configuration issue that was causing all kinds of havoc across the net.

I sent a duplicate submission from my backup email provider. Hope I'm not breaking any rules! <crosses fingers>

I am on A shore. Not 100% sure that I crossed the correct body of water to get where I am. 🤷‍♀️

Is this meant to be a quote from Psalms?
Yes
I think it's a mashup of two different verses. The last 3 words are from chapter 121. The first 3 may be from 2 different chapters (but wording isn't exactly correct for either). Chapter 130 says 'ממעמקים קראתיך ה. Chapter 118 says מן המיצר קראתי י-ה

That's the story I'm telling myself, and I'm sticking with it.

The discussion about how the original pageant puzzle unfolded got me wanting to go back and read all the comments on that puzzle.

Unfortunately they don't seem to be on the WSJ site now, and my internet searching abilities only got me as far as the last (and least interesting) 50 comments. I started a discussion of what I tried here. Hoping someone cleverer than I am can figure out how to recover the rest of them.
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.

(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

Good evening muggles

Our final tally is 2 on the ship and 208 on the shore. In a few hours we will know whether it is the right shore or whether we have another pageant.

Tomorrow, I'm interested to see if anyone has a valid alternative answer (as always), with all of the hedging discussed.

The XWord Rabbit might be busy.

I have an alternative answer. "Valid" is a stretch:)
