Ashore! Solved the grid thu nite (w/help from a few barley pops) and then got to the contest answer this AM after reading some posts and realizing my initial thoughts on the matter were no good! Time to go to the Aces!

Good Saturday morning muggles.

A fun challenge from Mr. Shenk but muggles were up to it with a constant stream of tenders getting from the ship to the shore since Thursday afternoon.

As a result we have 4 keeping Isaac company and 186 on the shore. It is great to read about the AHA moments after taking a walk, getting a good night sleep, having coffee or a sip of your favorite beverage.

It is also great to see the dedication of muggles, posting from around the world having solved the meta on hand drawn grids, preprinted grids that are filled in with dark squares and having grids printed from hotel desks.

And we welcome our newest muggles - Dickie_Dunn and Randyiscrazy (as we all are).

Made it ON SHORE yesterday while driving from NC to Williamsburg, VA for a reunion with good friends from college days at William and Mary. I'm having so much fun spending time with everyone and eating (and drinking) way more than usual, that I haven't even had a moment to read everyone's comments. Hopefully I can catch up with all the wonderful MUGgle news tomorrow afternoon on the drive home.
