Cap’n Rick puzzles are always a favorite round these parts. This was one of those ones where I didn’t even see a mechanism but somehow got the answer via osmosis, then went back and looked and could really appreciate the craftsmanship.

Great puzzle - there's a lot going on in there!

Huh. See neither Easter eggs nor meta. I'm definitely getting dumb in my middle age.

Off the couch. Used the mechanism to solve and then had fun looking for the Easter Eggs. Really enjoyed the clue for 40A.

I was late getting to the puzzle, but managed to solve without using any hints. Very enjoyable construction...thanks Cap'n Rick!
