I have noticed. My iPhone erased my almost completed grid - twice! I actually went in once and re-did the grid once but I won’t do it twice. Too bad they disabled the other version that doesn’t erase your work when you shut your phone for the evening.

Btw: many thanks to the muggles who reached out to me! I’m doing much better lately and feeling better.

When from love you think you’re dying
When at night you spend it crying
When a Swain may have you sighing
And into your life he’s trying
And to everyone he’s lying
An existence full of struggles

When time seems to be a thief
Running fast beyond belief
Trust that you can find relief
In the confidence of muggles

Some reached out with lots of care
Others wanted to but didn’t dare
Urging me not to ensnare
Myself with a committed pair
Even if one is debonair
(I wasn’t going to, anyway)

I never dreamed that doing a grid
In the company of those who did
And sharing my pain a little bit
Even with our identities hid
Would help - but it truly did
So thank you muggles!

Last few weeks almost convinced me that I had totally lost the "gift of the meta". But then, despite seeing nothing at all when I first completed the grid, reading the 14 pages of posts, mostly saying how easy this was, made me look at this one again...and voila!

I just realized I might be the only person who submitted the wrong answer this week. Is there a prize for that? Now that my brother in law has told me the correct answer, I see the error of my ways. Really nice construction. I do have one excuse that I’ll share tomorrow.

Getting your wrong answer mentioned in Mike Miller's post is kind of a prize:)

And maybe you'll be the only nominee for the rabbit hole award. Looking forward to the story.
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.

(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

Decided to take a look at the meta again after not seeing anything Friday morning. Sad to say a news story led me to the right answer.

On shore and enjoying the afterglow of a Bengals win! Who Dey!
Don’t bother me until I’ve had my coffee and done the crossword.

Quite the amazing puzzle from Mike!
Good luck to all for a successful solve. If you see that I'm ashore - rare occasion of late - message me if you'd like a nudge. Be sure to include your progress so I can know better how to assist.
