This puzzle popped up on the Gritzmacher list this week. I found it very clever and think some of you will too. Warning: the grid is pretty tough, although I finished with no errors.

There is an interesting backstory that I will post as a spoiler in a few days, or you can PM me.

Thank you @Abide!
This was very fun and obviously very different! A nifty a-ha cooled a growing grumbling at the troublesome cluing and voila! I recommend it!

Oh yeah the story....

The backstory is that Will E is a Timberwolves fan, and has the Twitter handle @TlMBERWOLVES. But how did he claim that user name over the NBA team that has the same Twitter handle? https://twitter.com/Timberwolves

Will created his Twitter account in caps with the lowercase l instead of a capital I. https://twitter.com/TlMBERWOLVES

If you check the font on the original blog post and in my original post, you can see the slight difference. Pretty neat tribute!

Clever gimmick. Note to self: If Abide says a grid is tough, believe him! Thank goodness for proper nouns and Google. I figured out everything except the crossing of 37A and 30D.
