The last two MMMs – Boxing Day and the New Year’s Football Pageant – were both first-rate and closely linked to a annual event. Not so today’s puzzle.. The meta is untethered from any specific date or festival, unless you put watching TV in that category.

The answer is a television show.

The difficulty level is towards the low end. Depending on your inventory of cultural knowledge, you may need Google to confirm your hunches, and maybe a copy of TV Guide.
