Beam me!
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

OK, I am new to Gaffney's puzzle site. I solved this one, but I have questions:
(1) Are those numbers after some names on the leaderboard the number of consecutive solves? (If no, then what do the numbers mean?)
(2) If the answer to (2) is yes, does the number include solo solves and collaborative solves?
(3) Does the number indicate that you have solved, say the 10 most recent puzzles? Or that, at some point in time, you solved 10 in a row?
(4) Is somebody, somewhere, counting solo solves?
Thanks, and feel free to tell me anything else you think I need to know.

The numbers are intact streaks of 10, 25, 50, & 100 solves (I think, there may be others), without regard to solo or not. An incorrect submission returns a solver to no badges.CPJohnson wrote: ↑Fri Jan 06, 2023 5:57 pm OK, I am new to Gaffney's puzzle site. I solved this one, but I have questions:

Badges? I don't have to show you no stinkin' badges!
Individual solo solves aren't published, only the aggregate for each puzzle. @BarbaraK subscribes. I'd start with her.
Matt will tell subscribers their stats at the end of a year, time willing & the creek don't rise. Awards are based on solves, solo & not, streaks, and whether you send Matt "Love Letters" with each submission.

Beamed! The A-Rod clue had me confused. Well, for about two seconds.

Got to it late, but now awaiting the beam. I know I'm displaying my ignorance, but I had to phone my good friend Google to confirm my answer... This one was just totally outside of my wheelhouse!
