Got it solo. Took a while and a half, though.

Hi, does anyone have a nudge in the right direction? I think I have mastered the wrong directions now.

Will there be a Zoom this evening? Have the first step (maybe step and a half?), but now just staring at nothing…

There will be the standard Zoom at 7:30 PM ET, with all welcome, including everyone wishing to stay to work on MGWCC afterward (me, included).

Typically, the Tuesday Zoom ends around 8:15 to 8:20. Arrive early. 🙂

Hmmm.... after no time to sneak off for a start until mon, I don't think I'm going to even bother to try this one. I'll feel kind of annoyed if it turns out it might have been in my grasp.
Funny story. I was all set to enter Par for the course for the CrossHare midi contest for April but I mistakenly thought midi meant 7x 7 and not 11 x 11. Oops. Well.... Here's a complex but **small** meta on the subject of golf.

After a gentle nudge from @HoldThatThought, and then some help from Mr. Excel (I'm a retired banker, I do all my thinking in spreadsheets), I FINALLY saw what I needed to see.

There's an element to this construction that I find quite impressive, but, at best, unnecessary, and at worst, potentially misleading. At least it was the latter for me for awhile.

But it's still very impressive!

Obviously, keep a lid on it until deadline passes tomorrow. But I'd love to hear what that was! I was down the biggest of rabbit holes for the longest of times here, but I managed to emerge!

Fewest solo solves since that stat was tracked:

Three-on-Three Matchup (HOLE): 17
Costume Change (CLOWN): 25
Don't Look Up (DOWN FOR THE COUNT): 32

I'm thinking this could rival it! (Next-lowest solo is over 50.)

Looking for nudges if anyone is around to offer them. I haven't even seen this step one that everyone is talking about.

Nothing subtle about the nudging that finally dragged me across the finish line (pending confirmation). It took a Zoom village...

BEAMED but it may take a bit for me to materialize in the transporter room because I needed so many shoves. I am with the folks making the last two posts. I am so grateful that my nudger was so patient and skilled that I was still able to enjoy the solve. I won't mention who my nudger was, just like we never told people who our favorite babysitter was for fear that they might be busy when we needed them! They know who they are.

Any 11th hour help? I'm apparently very close but can't seal the deal.
