I’m in Jerusalem… any favorite unknown spots??

Hello Muggles… I suspect that some of you have been to Jerusalem (and some live here!)… we are here doing a fairly demanding 2-week academic-type study-trip of Jerusalem and surrounding areas (and a few days in Jordan at the end). It’s an interesting time to be here, with the election coming up next week. (and the weather is gorgeous, by the way!).

We have already seen (or plan to see) all the well known spots, but if you have a favorite spot — museum, shop, restaurant, coffee/patisserie, the view from a particular spot at sundown, etc. — IN Jerusalem (especially if within walking distance of the Jaffa Gate area), we are all ears! We plan to check out the market area on Saturday evening (heard there is a fun atmosphere there after Shabbat sundown).
