Fun one! I've given up on the mega, like last year I'll just wait to be amazed at how oblivious I managed to be all year :-)

Ahh, got it. Some pretty deep rabbit holes in this one, but a helpful nudge confirmed my path. Very cool construction!

I have been gently nudged away from false trails and have made it to the solution. Clever and tricky puzzle!
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

On this one, I was in the process of composing a nudge request, writing what I was thinking and what I’d tried that didn’t work, when I realized that I hadn’t actually tried very hard with one approach. So gave it another good serious look and there it was.
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.

(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

Got there finally after a nudge. And some persistence. Thanks!
